It might seem picky but I’m getting a little annoyed by the ‘left-hand drive’ bias of the Megane Sport Tourer.
I noticed it early on with the car’s starter button on the left-hand side of the centre console, furthest away from right-hand drive customers. Then I couldn’t find the bonnet-opening lever. Guess where? Over on the far left hand side of the passenger footwell.
Finally, when wanting to turn off the front passenger airbag to fit a child seat for a one-off journey I couldn’t find the switch in its usual place on the passenger side of the dashboard; instead it was on the right. I know the cost of swapping items to their usual positions is expensive bit it doesn’t stop me getting wound up by not being able to easily find them.
