These days, my opinion of a good car is one that copes with what my kids throw at it, as much as how I can throw it around corners.
In which case I’m very impressed by the Honda. Having sat in the rear seats, which admittedly don’t offer as much headroom as they do legroom, I was expecting a token-gesture boot.
But somehow, given the vehicle’s neat and compact dimensions that make parking a doddle, it still has a healthy, useable boot capable of taking everything we needed for an overnight trip to Yorkshire to see the in-laws, including a handy underfloor storage area that’s perfect for protecting fragile item.
