A third visit to our Honda dealer in Bexleyheath over the past few weeks has resolved the warning light issue plaguing the CR-V. Rather than a problem with the fuel pump – the initial diagnosis that was thankfully revised before unnecessary warranty work – a sensor has been replaced, which seems to have done the trick.

It’s a shame warranty work doesn’t warrant a wash with Honda dealers though, unlike with the BMW I previously ran. I was told that cars in for a service get a wash, but warranty work – in this case involving three trips and a total of nearly 50 miles to and from the dealer – doesn’t get the same treatment.
