Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has launched Van Mail, an electronic newsletter for owners and potential customers.

Van Mail, which will be sent four times a year, gives recipients news, offers and competitions from VW Commercial Vehicles.

“Van Mail is intended to be informative, valuable and rewarding,” said David George, head of marketing, VW Commercial Vehicles.

‘We already offer award-winning customer service, but want to be able to make our customers feel valued and well informed,’ he added.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen Van Centres has won the VW Commercial Vehicles Worldwide Aftersales Importer of the Year award.

Criteria for the award, judged against every country that imports VW CVs, included customer satisfaction ratings, staff training and development programmes, plus a robust strategy to deliver the best aftersales service.

The judges praised VW Commercial Vehicles in the UK for its focus on staff training, with a record number of technicians in its network, and initiatives such as the’100% Volkswagen’, National Service Pricing and fleet package pricing campaigns.
