Drivers of Volvo cars in the UK can now get free repairs to punctured tyres and chipped windscreens, the manufacturer has announced.
Under the new scheme, which applies to Volvo cars of any age, drivers can take their car to any of the manufacturer’s UK dealers, whose technicians will check if a repair is safe and possible.
In most cases, a repair will be made on the spot, with no charge. Otherwise, the dealer will advise the driver if a replacement part is needed, and can arrange for it to be fitted.
Volvo Car UK managing director Kristian Elvefors said: “As well as reducing the nuisance factor of minor damage, this new service helps keep cars in safe condition and, in the case of windscreens, can prevent chips leading to cracks and more costly replacements.
“We value all Volvo drivers, no matter how old their car might be, and this new service is the perfect way to help them stay safe, secure and mobile.”
