Volvo has launched a new entry-level equipment grade for its EX30 EV, as well as a spec update for its XC90 large SUV.

The new Core EX30 (pictured) sits below the existing Plus and Ultra grades in the range line-up, and is available with a choice of Single Motor and Single Motor Extended Range powertrains, offering a range on the official WLTP cycle of 209 miles and 295 miles respectively.

Standard equipment includes 18in alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights with active high beam, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and a 12.3in touchscreen with built-in Google services.

The EX30 Core is priced at £32,850 for the Single Motor version and £37,050 for the Single Motor Extended Range. Orders are open now, with the first deliveries due early next year.
