Volkswagen Group has appointed Steve Catlin as its head of group fleet services. He is replacing Vince Kinner who retired from the business at the end of March.
Catlin will take up his new position on 13 July.
He previously worked at Vauxhall, where he has most recently been the retail sales director the last three years. Prior to that, he worked as the national retail sales manager for a year.
Catlin also served as Saab’s UK operations director for a year and a half before the company folded.
He will report to Alistair Shields, group commercial director for the Volkswagen Group.
“Group fleet services was set up around two years ago and under Vincent’s ownership, a new structure and group fleet contact centre have been established,” said Shields. “The work he has done puts us in a strong position to provide a high level of service to fleet customers and to maximise efficiency across the five group brands – Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Seat and Skoda.’
