Vauxhall has slashed nearly £3000 off the entry level price of its new Antara SUV, which goes on sale next month.
Prices start at £19,995 for the 2.2 CDTi 163hp Exclusiv front wheel drive model – £2835 cheaper than the outgoing base model.
The new Antara sports an updated front grille and revised Griffin logo. SE derivatives feature fog lights finished with chrome bezels and 19-inch alloy wheels as standard.
The latest edition to the Euro 5 compliant engine line-up is the 2.2 CDTi turbodiesel, producing either 163 or 184hp.
The 163hp unit is offered in front-wheel drive with six-speed manual transmission or all-wheel drive with manual or auto six-speed gearbox.
The 184hp drivetrain also offers manual or auto transmissions but comes with all-wheel drive as standard. The adaptive four-wheel drive system switches automatically between two and four wheel drive as conditions demand.
The cabin hosts a revised centre console and standard features include hill hold assist, electric parking brake and a shift up indicator to improve fuel economy.
