Volkswagen is about to open UK orders for the facelifted version of its Golf lower-medium car.
Changes to the model include an updated infotainment system, designed to be more intuitive to use and featuring ChatGPT functionality, and new exterior styling including an illuminated front Volkswagen logo.
In addition, plug-in hybrid models have received an electric range boost, to around 62 miles.
The first versions of the updated Golf to go on sale, on 11 April, will be hatchbacks with the Life, Match, and Style equipment grades, and estates with the Life and Style grades. Initial engine options are 115hp and 150hp petrols, both with and without mild hybrid technology.
Prices start from £27,035 for the hatchback and £28,400 for the estate.
Models with the R-Line equipment grade will join the range from 25 April, with others, including plug-in hybrid, GTI and GTE versions, due to arrive in the middle of this year.
