Kia has unveiled a newly-facelifted version of its EV6.
Among the updates is the addition of a new, larger battery pack, with a capacity of 84kWh, allowing a WLTP range of up to 361 miles, depending on spec. There is also an increased charging capacity of up to 258kW, allowing a 10-80% charge in 18 minutes.
There are two powertrain options – RWD, with 225bhp, and AWD, with 320bhp. An updated version of the high-performance GT version will follow early next year.
There is a choice of Air, GT-Line, and GT-Line S equipment grades. Standard equipment with the Air grade includes 19in alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, automatic air conditioning, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, and twin 12.3in curved screens.
Standard driver assistance systems include front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, intelligent speed limit assist and smart cruise control, lane keep and lane follow assist, driver attention warning, and forward collision avoidance assist.
Further equipment with GT-Line spec includes rear privacy glass, GT-Line exterior and interior styling, wireless mobile phone charging, safe exit warning, and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.
Further features of the GT-Line S grade include 20in alloy wheels, a sunroof,heated outer rear seats, ventilated front seats, a smart power tailgate, vehicle-to-load capability with adapter, a head-up display, blind-spot view monitors, and a 360-degree camera system.
Starting prices are £45,575 for the Air grade, £48,575 for GT-Line, and £53,675 for GT-Line S.
Orders are open now, with customer deliveries starting later this quarter.
