Dacia has revealed UK prices and specs for its second-generation Duster SUV.

The car is available at launch with a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Both produce 115hp and come paired with a manual gearbox. Four-wheel drive is available with the petrol engine.

Official combined fuel economy figures are 43.5mpg for two-wheel drive petrol cars, 40.7mpg for four-wheel drive petrol cars and 64.2mpg for diesels, while CO2 emissions are 149g/km, 158g/km and 115g/km respectively.

The new Duster gets equipment designed to make off-road driving easier, including hill descent control and hill start assist.

In keeping with the brand’s focus on low prices, Dusters in entry-level Access trim are priced from £9,995.

Prices for two-wheel drive petrol cars rise to £11,595 for Essential trim, £13,195 for Comfort trim and £14,395 for range-topping Prestige trim.

Comfort and Prestige models get a 7in touchscreen with sat-nav and a rear parking camera, while Prestige models gain 17in alloy wheels, a multiview camera, a blindspot warning system, climate control and keyless entry.

Boot capacity is 445 litres for the two-wheel drive version and 376 litres for the four-wheel drive version.

The new Duster is available to order from 11 June, with deliveries beginning from July.
