Trafficmaster has signed a big new deal to supply 300 Nottingham City Homes vans with its new Fleet Director tracking and telematics system.
Fleet Director was launched last year and there are currently 300 customers using 1200 units in the UK, the majority commercial vehicle operators. Trafficmaster business services director John Lawrence, who joined the company from RAC Accident Services last year, told BusinessCar that he’s targeting 5000 units across 1000 customers by the end of this year.
A third of the Fleet Director business so far has been in Citroen vans, as a part of Trafficmaster’s tie-in with the French brand. All Citroen vans are pre-fitted with the technology, and it’s simply a case of Trafficmaster flicking the switch to activate it on customer demand.
