Vehicle tracking giant Tracker has launched an entry-based telematics package aimed at SME businesses following what it called “increasing requests from SME customers”.

Based on the firm’s existing fleet telematics system, the fleet Evo software allows businesses to select the degree of data and functionality needed.

It features a journey and mapping programme as standard. It comprises of route planning, traffic alerts, vehicle locations, journey playback, including start and stop times and an option to set up geofence alerts – if a vehicle entered or left a pre-determined geographical area an alert will be trigged.

“Most fleet telematics solutions focus on organisations with hundreds or even thousands of vehicles, but Tracker Fleet Evo targets businesses with fleets from one vehicle up to 20,” said David Wilson, chief operating officer at Tracker.
