Toyota has confirmed its facelifted Avensis will be priced from £17,765 when it arrives in the UK in June. It is available to order now.
The entry-level model in Active trim level with a 145hp 1.8-litre petrol is priced at £17,765. It is expected to emit 136g/km of CO2 and return 47.4mpg after homologation. The estate version is priced from £18,945.
The cheapest diesel is the Active trim model and is fitted with the firm’s 110hp 1.6-litre unit. It emits 108g/km of CO2 and returns 68.9mpg and is priced from £18,850.
There are four trim levels – Active, Business Edition, Business Edition Plus and Excel. All models include Toyota’s pre-crash safety system, cruise control, air conditioning, LED lights and Bluetooth as standard.
Business Edition models add Toyota’s Touch 2 with Go infotainment system, a reversing camera, 17-inch wheels and automatic high beam, lane departure warning and road sign assist safety features, while Business Edition Plus models gain daytime running lights, leather upholstery and smart entry systems.
The top-of-the-range Excel models adds an enhanced infotainment system and 10-speaker audio system and adjustable seats.
