Out of hours GP service Medvivo has added 12 new Skoda cars to its fleet.

The order consists of seven Octavia Scouts, two Kodiaqs and three Karoqs.

The cars will be used by the GP service as it delivers primary medical services outside normal working hours in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.

The low running costs of the vehicles is said to have been an important factor for Medvivo, which worked alongside Lookers Leasing and Skoda’s fleet team to create a full-service package.

Jerry Hollands of Medvivo said: “Our clinicians provide an important service to NHS patients in their own home and our fleet of vehicles is the backbone of that support system.

“The vehicles have been with us a few weeks and already I’ve had fantastic feedback from drivers who are impressed by the cars.”
