Enterprise Rent-A-Car is opening seven days a week at 50 of its 370-site network, to cater for corporate customers.

The move will “provide greater flexibility to organisations of all sizes, allowing customers, for example, to acquire vehicles on Sunday for early-morning business trips on Monday,” said the rental firm.

The 50 locations have been chosen due to their proximity to highly populated business areas and commuter belts.

The announcement follows a trial in 2010 at 11 locations in Greater London and seven more around the UK, which saw “a hugely positive response from both corporate and private customers”, prompting the company to expand seven-day opening to more branches.

Mike Nigro, managing director UK & Ireland, said: “The ability to return vehicles on a Sunday rather than waiting until Monday will naturally help businesses to further control their travel costs, while customers who need rental vehicles urgently for Monday will be able to acquire them immediately. It offers an even more flexible approach to car and van hire.”
