Accident repair firm Selsia has teamed up with National Windscreens to provide a glass repair, replacement and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration service for its fleet clients.
Increasing numbers of vehicles are now fitted with ADAS, with associated windscreen-mounted cameras. Calibration is often needed for those cameras after a windscreen replacement however, to ensure the systems work properly.
The new partnership therefore includes a UK-wide calibration service available at 108 ADAS centres, so windscreen replacement and camera calibration can be provided at the same time, meaning Selsia’s clients will be able to drive away after only one visit.
Selsia managing director Neil Marcus said: “We’re very excited to be bringing National Windscreens into our centrally managed fleet services support proposition.
“As we take First Notice of Loss, we’re able to give our clients an instantaneous and consistent response solution for glass as well as accident repairs.
“With 800 mobile technicians, the UK’s largest fitting centre network, full coverage of the UK and a market leader in fleet support we know we have a partner we can rely on.
“And with our 200 approved Selsia bodyshops, we now have a fleet support network of over 300 locations as well as a national network of mobile bodywork and windscreen technicians.”
National Windscreens regional sales and marketing manager Simon Barron said: “Road traffic accidents can cause huge inconvenience for drivers, so we are delighted that Selsia’s clients will now be benefiting from our market-leading service, which provides windscreen replacement and ADAS calibration in one visit, getting vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.”
