Renault is recalling 999 Zoe electric vehicles in the UK to correct “the small possibility” of the front wheel arch liner causing damage to the front brake hose.

The issue relates to cars manufactured before 6 October 2014 and a Renault spokesman told BusinessCar that affected customers will receive a letter inviting them to take their vehicles to a dealership.”The maintenance work may take between a quarter of an hour, for a simple check, to four hours, if parts need to be replaced.  A courtesy car will be provided if parts need to be replaced,” the spokesman added.

“The check and any work required are free of charge for the customer.”
