Nissan‘s Qashqai broke into fleet’s top three biggest-selling models last month, coming in behind only the Vauxhall Astra and VW Golf in the fleet registrations chart for July.
In total there were 73,973 vehicles registered as fleet sales last month, which was 2.7% up on July 2009, while the fleet share of the market was 54.3%, the highest figure since the introduction of the scrappage scheme for private buyers last May. The post-scrappage lull in the private market saw it fall 26.6% on July 2009.
Vauxhall topped the sales chart, with Ford, VW, BMW and Peugeot rounding out the top five.
