PSA Peugeot Citroen has appointed Martin Gurney as its fleet and used vehicle director across Peugeot, Citroen and DS as part of a management restructure.
The firm told BusinesCar it has not yet made a decision on how the new fleet department will go to market, whether there will be brand specific fleet sales teams or whether there will now be a group fleet sales strategy.
Part of the restructure includes having a single director general across the Peugeot, Citroen and DS brands.
Stéphane Le Guével has been appointed as director general with immediate effect and there will be a new structure of directors responsible for reporting in to Le Guevel as of 1, January next year.
Arnaud Leclerc is now deputy director general of PSA Peugeot Citroen and brand development director for DS.
Neil Moscrop is now brand director for Peugeot and Bek Hassan is brand director for Citroen and DS.
Brand directors will be responsible for the sales & marketing operations of each brand.
Also reporting to Le Guével and responsible for all three group brands is Stuart Hodge, parts and service director and Andrew Didlick, communications, events and partnerships director.
A statement from PSA Peugeot Citroen said: “This organisational change is part of PSA Peugeot Citroën Group’s ‘Back in the Race’ initiative which is accelerating the group’s recovery.
“These changes do not alter the positioning of the Peugeot, Citroën and DS brands; each will retain its own unique identity.”
