Fiat has confirmed its Fullback pick-up will cost from £20,995 when it launches next month, and that its Fiorino light van will cost from £11,315. All prices exclude VAT.
The Fullback is based on the What Van? award-winning Mitsubishi L200 pick-up and is the brand’s first entry into the growing market.
Three trim levels are offered with the Fullback – SX, LX and LX Auto.
Standard equipment on the SX includes remote central locking, electric windows and mirrors, Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital radio, air conditioning (including rear vents), start/stop and a number of safety features including trailer stability assist), LED daytime running lights, hill start assist and cruise control with a speed limiter, while LX versions gain a lane departure warning system and a reversing camera, a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system and privacy glass.
The Fullback is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine, which offers either 150hp (SX) or 180hp (LX and LX Auto). The outputs emit 169g/km/173g/km of CO2 and returns 44.2mpg/42.2mpg, respectively.
Standard equipment on the Fiorino, meanwhile, includes a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth, sat-nav and a DAB radio.
Three engines power the facelifted small van – two diesels (an 80hp 1.3-litre unit and a 95hp 1.3-litre motor) and a petrol (77hp l.4-litre engine).
The most frugal model in the range – the lower output of the two diesels and when fitted with an automatic gearbox – is capable of achieving 74.3mpg and emitting 100g/km of CO2, which the Italian manufacturer claims is 14% less than the manual transmission option.
