Petrol engine options are a 1.0-litre with 120hp and a 1.3-litre with 150hp and 180hp; diesel engine options are a 1.6-litre with 120hp and a 2.0-litre with 140hp or 170hp.

It will come with either six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic transmission.

Depending on trim level there is either a 5in or 8.4in touchscreen – the latter coming with sat-nav.

Standard safety systems across the range include lane departure warning and intelligent speed assist with traffic sign recognition.

Prices start at £19,200 for an entry-level Sport model, rising to £30,805 for the range-topping Trailhawk.
