Electric vehicle (EV) charging company Pod Point has announced a three-year preferred supplier deal with MG.
The agreement coincides with the arrive of the MG ZS EV, the manufacturer’s first fully-electric car, with the first 1,000 people to order the car getting free home chargers included.
Pod Point CEO and founder Erik Fairbairn said: “The launch of the ZS EV has generated an enormous amount of interest from the EV community who are always excited by the launch of a new mid-range model with excellent features.
“We’re delighted to be working with MG Motor UK as a preferred chargepoint supplier.”
MG UK head of sales and marketing Daniel Gregorious said: “We’re pleased to confirm our partnership with Pod Point as we commence deliveries of the ZS EV to the UK.
“We were impressed with the quality of Pod Point’s smart homechargers and the company’s dedication to excellent customer service.”
