Peugeot will launch the upcoming 308 hatchback to the company car market at BusinessCar Live on 26 & 27 September, days after its world debut at the Frankfurt motor show.
Visitors to Live will be able to get their hands on the new car, which Peugeot promises will have moved cabin quality “up a notch by benchmarking Audi”.
The 308 is longer, wider and lower than the car it replaces – the 307 – and will be promoted on enhanced quality and reliability, environmental credentials and duty of care safety equipment, including six standard airbags.
Peugeot will launch the five-door hatch with a choice of seven engine options including a 1.6-litre diesel that hits the tax-efficient 120g/km level. This should also ensure it can be driven free in London when the new congestion charge regulations should come into play next year.
Improved CO2 ratings are consolidated by cleaner 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol units, shared with BMW, ranging from 95PS to 150PS.
Alongside the all-new 308, Peugeot will also be displaying its new 4×4, the 4007, and its new supermini estate the 207 SW.
There will also be the first chance to drive the new fleet-friendly version of the 407 Coupe equipped with the 136PS 2.0-litre diesel used in the saloon and SW versions.
