UK orders have opened for the Polestar 4, the EV brand’s new SUV-coupe.
A D-segment model, the Polestar 4 is 4,840mm long and 2,139mm wide.
It features no traditional rear window, with a standard glass roof instead extending beyond the rear seats. An HD screen linked to a roof-mounted camera replaces the traditional rear-view mirror.
The model is launching with a choice of single motor and dual motor variants, offering 272hp and 544hp respectively. Both options come with a 100kWh battery, with a preliminary WLTP range of up to 379 miles with the single motor version. Charging speed capacity is up to 200kW DC, and 22kW AC.
The model’s interior features a 15.4in infotainment screen with built-in Google services.
Polestar has announced indicative prices of £59,990 for the single motor version, and £66,990 for the dual motor.
Production is due to start towards the middle of 2024, with the first deliveries expected from August.
