Cupra has opened UK orders for a new, more powerful version of its Born EV.
The Born VZ features a 326hp motor, which also produces 545Nm of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds.
The model also features an improved, 79kWh battery pack, allowing a range of up to 372 miles between charges. It can be recharged at up to 185kW, allowing a 10-80% charge within 26 minutes.
Exterior features of the Born VZ include 20in ‘Thunderstorm’ alloy wheels and a ‘Dark Forest’ paint option, while the interior gets bucket seats and a Sennheiser Premium Audio sound system. Keyless entry, car-2-X intelligent vehicle networking, and a wireless phone charger are also standard.
The Born VZ is priced at £44,625.
