EV charging company Ohme has announced a new app feature designed to make charging easier to manage for drivers with more than one EV.
The MultiCar function allows multiple vehicles to be added to a single account, with drivers able to switch between them when choosing which car to charge.
It means, for instance, that Ohme users can differentiate between personal and company cars, separating the charging costs for each vehicle, aiding expenses claims.
Users will be able to view individual data for each vehicle on the account, giving a full breakdown of every vehicle’s charging sessions, including kWh of charge and costs broken down by day, month or year, giving bespoke information if required for personal or business purposes.
Ohme CEO David Watson said: “Innovation and constant progression are core values at Ohme. This new MultiCar function in our app is a great example of those and a major step forward for the growing numbers of households with more than one EV.
“This eagerly-awaited addition to our app just underlines how Ohme always strives to ensure that no driver is left behind in the e-mobility transition.”
