Vauxhall has announced updates to its Mokka small SUV and Corsa supermini ranges, including a new Black special edition version of the former.
Based on the existing GS equipment grade, the Black features 18in black alloy wheels, a black roof, tinted rear windows, and black gloss detailing and lettering.
Inside, there is a black roof lining and black cloth seats.
The Mokka Black costs £27,525 with manual transmission, or £29,170 as an automatic.
Black aside, the most significant change for the Mokka range is a new petrol engine. The new 1.2-litre, 136hp engine – which comes with a manual gearbox – replaces the previously-available 130hp petrol manual, but with CO2 emissions reduced by 16g/km.
Spec changes have also been announced for the range-topping Mokka Ultimate, which now features black exterior trim instead of the previous chrome, and new standard driver’s side power lumbar support and front massage seats.
All versions of the Mokka now come with high beam assist with tunnel detection.
As for the Corsa, the Design equipment grade now gets revised automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, while the electric GS now gets LED front fog lights as standard.
New equipment for the range-topping Corsa Ultimate includes blind spot alert, and a driver’s seat with lumbar support and massage function.
