Skoda has launched a new equipment grade for its Octavia family car.

The SE Drive builds on the spec of the existing SE grade, with additional standard features including 17in alloy wheels, sat-nav with integrated wi-fi and textile floor mats.

Skoda claims these extras represent an additional spec over the SE worth more than £1,300, for only £550 more.

Standard kit carried over from the SE for the SE Drive includes acoustic rear parking sensors, cruise control, a driver fatigue sensor, electrically adjustable and heated mirrors and dual-zone air conditioning.

The SE Drive is available as either a hatchback or an estate, and comes with a choice of three engines: a 1.0-litre, 115hp petrol; a 1.5-litre, 150hp petrol; or a 1.6-litre, 115hp diesel.

It is available to order now, with prices starting at £20,155 for a 1.0-litre model, and rising as high as £24,715 for a diesel with an automatic gearbox.
