Skoda has confirmed UK specs and prices for the new, second-generation version of its Kodiaq large SUV.
The model is being made available with a choice of five- and seven-seater configurations, and SE or SE L equipment grades, with a Sportline grade version to join the range at a later date.
Standard equipment with the SE grade includes 18in alloy wheels, LED front and rear lights, heated front seats, a 13in touchscreen with sat-nav, a 10.25in Virtual Cockpit display, and three-zone climate control. Standard safety systems include front assist with braking reaction to vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, blind spot detection with door exit warning and front cross traffic assist.
Further equipment with the SE L grade includes 19in alloy wheels, adaptive LED matrix headlights, black artificial leather and real leather interior trim, an electrically-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, an an electric tailgate.
Launch engine options with the new Kodiaq include 150hp and 204hp petrols (the former with mild hybrid technology), and 150hp and 193hp diesels, with the 204hp and 193hp engines coming with all-wheel drive. A plug-in hybrid option with an electric-only range of 62 miles will join the range subsequently.
Initial prices for the range start at £36,645 for a 150hp petrol SE five-seater, and rise as high as £46,225 for a 193hp dieset SE L seven-seater.
Orders will open on 10 April, with the first deliveries scheduled for summer.
