Skoda will today reveal a new Fabia vRS in hatch and, for the first time, estate form.

Skoda has ditched the diesel engine which powered the previous version, making it a user-chooser favourite, in favour of a turbo and super-charged 180PS 1.4-litre petrol engine giving the cars a 0-62mph time of 7.3 seconds.

However, the new hot-hatch should still win fleet minds thanks to an official fuel figure of 44.1mpg and a CO2 output understood to be well below 160g/km.

Skoda has also facelifted the rest of the Fabia and Roomster range for 2010.
