The 2024 model year Mazda3 has gone on sale, with range and technology updates.

In a move said to bring the lower-medium car in line with other models in Mazda’s range, there is now a choice of Prime-Line, Centre-Line, Homura, Exclusive-Line, and Takumi equipment grades.

New features include a larger central infotainment screen – up from 8in to 10.25in – as well as wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity (with sat-nav info from these now integrated in the head-up display), a wireless smartphone charger, and USB Type-C charging ports.

Engine options remain 186hp e-Skyactiv-X or 122hp e-Skyactiv-G mild hybrid petrols, and there is a choice of hatch or saloon bodystyles, with the former now also newly available with a Ceramic Metallic paint option.
