Renault has announced updates for its Scenic E-Tech and Megane E-Tech EVs.
Among the changes are new range structures, with both now consisting of Techno, Techno Esprit Alpine, and Iconic Esprit Alpine equipment grades.
In addition, the models have both gained a ‘one pedal’ driving function, with enhanced regenerative braking, as well as a vehicle-to-load charging function, allowing external 230V devices to be powered by energy stored in the car’s battery.
The models are also gaining ‘Plug and Charge’ capability via the Mobilize Charge Pass, allowing charging to start immediately upon connection with a charger, with payment handled automatically.
Both models also now benefit from a lower starting price, with the Megane E-Tech available from £32,495, and the Scenic E-Tech (pictured) from £37,195.
Orders for the updated models are expected to open by the end of April.
