Peugeot has revealed UK specs and prices for the new Long Range versions of its E-3008 and E-5008 SUVs.

The models feature a 98kWh battery and 230hp electric motor, with WLTP ranges of 435 miles for the E-3008 (pictured), and 415 miles for the E-5008 – increases of 108 miles and 104 miles respectively compared with the standard E-3008 and E-5008.

DC charging speeds of up to 160kW will allow a 20-80% battery charge in 27 minutes. A new battery pre-conditioning system is also designed to optimise initial charging times during long trips and at low temperatures.

Despite the larger batteries, Peugeot says there is no reduction in interior or boot space associated with the Long Range models.

A choice of Allure and GT equipment grades is available with both models. Standard features of the Allure grade include an HD reversing camera, wireless smartphone charging, and keyless entry, while features of the GT grade include pixel LED headlights, a smart electric tailgate, heated front seats, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go function.

Prices for the E-3008 are £48,650 for Allure, and £52,180 for GT, while prices for the E-5008 are £51,350 for Allure, and £54,880 for GT.

Orders will open on 5 November. The first deliveries are expected in the first quarter of 2025.

Peugeot says an additional, dual-motor AWD powertrain option will also join both the E-3008 and E-5008 ranges at a later date.
