MG has unveiled the new, second-generation version of its ZS small SUV.
Badged the ZS Hybrid+, the new model pairs a 102hp petrol engine with a 136hp electric motor, for a total hybrid powertrain output of 196hp. WLTP combined fuel economy and CO2 emission figures are 55.4mpg and 115g/km respectively.
A choice of SE and Trophy equipment grades is on offer. Standard equipment with the SE grade includes full front and rear LED lighting, a 12.3in infotainment screen with sat-nav, a 7in driver display, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, automatic lights and wipers, and keyless entry.
Standard safety systems include adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and traffic jam assist.
Further equipment with the Trophy grade includes 18in alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, leather-style upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, six-way electric driver’s seat adjustment with lumbar support, and a 360-degree camera system.
Prices are £21,995 for the SE grade, and £24,495 for the Trophy grade.
Orders are open now, with the first cars due to arrive at UK dealers in October.
