Mazda has unveiled a new medium-sized model for its EV line-up.
The Mazda6e is described as a five-door hatchback with a fastback saloon style.
The model, which has been revealed at the Brussels Motor Show, will be offered with a choice of 68.8kWh and 80kWh batteries, allowing a range of up to 300 miles and up to 345 miles respectively.
The smaller battery will come with a 258hp motor, and the larger battery with a 244hp motor. Both versions will be rear-wheel drive, and support DC rapid charging, with the smaller battery capable of charging from 10-80% in 22 minutes at 200kW.
Standout exterior design details of the Mazda6e are said to include frameless doors, a bold lighting signature and integrated door handles. The model also features an electrically-extendable rear spoiler.
The interior features a 14.6in touchscreen and a 10.2in driver display, and there is a 330-litre boot, as well as a 70-litre front boot.
The Mazda6e is due to go on sale in left-hand drive markets this year, before arriving in the UK in 2026. UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
