Mazda has unveiled the next generation of its lower medium hatchback, the 3.
Two petrol and three diesel engines make up the range, with Mazda’s recently launched 2.2-litre diesel appearing in both 150 and 185PS versions. CO2 emissions work out at 144 and 149g/km respectively, while the 109PS 1.6-litre diesel manages just 119g/km, dropping it into the 13% BIK band.
The 3 is expected in the UK in the first quarter of 2009.
