Mitsubishi has announced an updated version of its Mirage supermini.

Among the changes compared with the outgoing car are a restyled front end, featuring a square grille and designed to give a more powerful look, with the lights arranged to make the car look wider.

The car’s rear end is also squarer and features full-width lights.

There are also new 15in two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, and new White Diamond and Sand Yellow exterior paint colours.

Inside there are redesigned front armrests and new-look switch panels, while higher-spec cars get upgraded upholstery.

The revised Mirage will also be available with a 7in touchscreen, with Bluetooth, Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

The updated Mirage is set to arrive in early 2020. Full UK specs and prices are yet to be announced.
