KGM’s new Torres SUV is now available in the UK.
According to KGM – formerly Ssangyong – the model is designed to fill the gap between the medium and large SUV segments.
The Torres has launched with a 1.5-litre, 163hp petrol engine, with six-speed automatic transmission. A pure-electric EVX version is due to join the range subsequently, as will a petrol all-wheel drive model.
KGM claims a 703-litre boot capacity is class-leading, while the interior features dual 12.3in infotainment and driver display screens, with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
There is a choice of K30 and K40 equipment grades. Further standard features of the K30 grade include leather seats, a heated leather steering wheel, automatic dual zone air conditioning, a reversing camera, and 18in alloy wheels.
Further equipment with the K40 grade includes sat-nav, a smart powered tailgate, and 20in alloy wheels.
Prices start at £34,995 for K30 spec, while K40 versions are priced from £37,995.
