Mitsubishi has announced a series of range updates for its Eclipse Cross SUV. 

Among them is the introduction of a Black Edition variant, limited to 500 examples. It features black-dipped alloy wheels, a customised front grille, front and rear skid plates, and door mirror covers. 

It also comes with on-board Mitsubishi Connect telematics.

Other equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, 360 degree parking camera, a head-up display, Rockford Fosgate premium speakers and dual zone climate control.

Elsewhere in the range, the 2 equipment grade now comes with new machine-finished 16in alloy wheels, while the 3 and 4 grades gain an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

A Lightning Blue pearlescent paint option has also been made available across the range.

Prices for the Eclipse Cross range start at £21,290, while the Black Edition is priced at £27,290.
