Skoda has added new entry-level versions of its Enyaq EV to the range.
The new Enyaq 50 and Enyaq 50 Edition feature 55kWh batteries, delivering up to 234 and 232 miles of range respectively on the official WLTP cycle. A peak charging speed of 145kW allows an 80% charge in around 25 minutes.
Skoda says that the new models, which come with a 170hp electric motor, replace the previous Enyaq 60 in the line-up, with a price reduction of £2,000.
Standard equipment with the Enyaq 50 includes 19in alloy wheels, and a 13in touchscreen with sat-nav.
Further equipment with the Enyaq 50 Edition includes full LED matrix headlights, full LED rear lights, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, privacy glass, three-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and cooled wireless charging.
Orders are open now, with the Enyaq 50 priced at £36,970, and the Enyaq 50 Edition priced at £38,585.
