Citroen has unveiled its new-generation C3 Aircross SUV.

At 4.39m long, the new model is significantly longer than the outgoing car, and will be available with five or seven seats.

Engine options will include a 100hp petrol, a 136hp 48V hybrid, and a 113hp electric motor, with the latter paired with a 44kWh battery to offer a provisional range of more than 186 miles on the WLTP cycle. A version with a larger battery will subsequently join the line-up in 2025, extending the range to over 250 miles.

Features of the model will include Citroen’s ‘Advanced Comfort’ suspension and seats, and a 10.25in touchscreen.

UK sales of the new C3 Aircross will begin this autumn, with a choice of Plus and Max equipment grades. Prices are yet to be announced.

The first deliveries are due by the end of the year.
