Kia intends to target small businesses with its new Ceed and sell the new model to corporate customers directly through the dealer network.

The firm’s European fleet and remarketing manager, Chan Uk Jun, told Businesscar: “In the past when we sold to fleet it was often old stock, but not any more. The Ceed is our most important product in fleet and we can reach additional target groups with it.

“The new design and good RVs will make it attractive to classic user choosers and we’ll be selling through the dealer network and adopting a retail-style approach. With this approach, we’re hoping to pull in small businesses, which operate like retail customers.”
