BMW has unveiled the new, second-generation version of its 2 Series Gran Coupe.

Two engine options are available – a 170hp petrol mild hybrid, and a 300hp petrol. Both come as standard with seven-speed double-clutch automatic transmission.

Compared with the previous-generation model, the new 2 Series Gran Coupe is 20mm longer, and 25mm taller.

The model comes with BMW’s Curved Display set-up, including a 10.25in infotaiment display, and 10.7in control display.

Standard equipment includes BMW Live Cockpit Plus with cloud-based sat-nav, ambient interior lighting, and a six-speaker audio system.

Standard driver assistance systems include front collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection and brake function, crossroads warning, cruise control with braking function, speed limit assist, lane departure warning, rear collision warning, and exit warning.

The new 2 Series Gran Coupe is available to order now, with prices starting at £34,915 for the mild hybrid version, and £44,435 for the petrol.

The first customer deliveries are due from March 2025.
