Alfa Romeo has changed the name of its new small SUV, unveiled last week, from Milano to Junior.
The company said the change had followed a declaration by an Italian government official that the use of the name Milano was banned by law.
As previously announced, the Junior will come with a choice of 156hp or 240hp electric powertrains, both with a 54kWh battery, which will give the 156hp version a range of up to 250 miles on the WLTP test cycle. A hybrid powertrain will also be available.
Orders for the Junior are due to open in early summer. Prices are yet to be announced.
