The new Abarth 600e performance electric SUV has been unveiled.
The model, derived from the Fiat 600e, is being made available with a choice of 240hp or 280hp electric powertrains – the latter with the limited edition Scorpionissima variant. Acceleration from 0-62mph is said to be possible in 6.2 and 5.9 seconds respectively, and a WLTP combined battery range of up to 207 miles is quoted.
Features designed to improve the model’s driving dynamics include a mechanical limited-slip differential, sports brakes, race-derived tyres, and a performance-boosting battery cooling system.
Other features include a wider front and rear track compared with the Fiat 600e, a rear spoiler, and 20in alloy wheels.
Interior features include a 10.25in infotainment screen (with sat-nav on Scorpionissima versions) and a 7in instrument cluster.
Both models feature adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and drowsy driver detection, while Scorpionissima spec comes with Level 2 Assisted Driving.
Prices start at £36,975 for the base Abarth 600e, and rise to £41,975 for the Scorpionissima version.
UK orders are due to open in mid-November.
