Mitsubishi has introduced a five-year / 62,500 mile warranty across its model range, up from its previous three-year warranty.
The Japanese car maker said all models will come with a three-year pan-European assistance package, dubbed Mitsubishi Assistance Package.
The firm said it experienced a “very successful 2014” and claimed its vehicle sales grew by 74.4%, compared to the UK market which was up 9.4% on 2013.
“The move to a five-year warranty is a reflection of Mitsubishi’s confidence in the unrivalled quality and reliability of our product. It is especially significant when you consider the hard working nature of some of our vehicles such as Shogun, and ultra-low emission technologies in the Outlander plug-in hybrid electric vehicle,” said Lance Bradley, Mitsubishi UK MD.
