MG Motor has won a fleet deal from Birmingham Airport to supply five MG6 GT cars to its management team. The carmaker said the deal is the first to be won by the MG Birmingham Sales Centre that opened at the MG factory site in September.

MG has also recently announced the MG6’s participation in the Motability scheme. Andrew Lowerson, MG Motor UK’s product manager said the car is suited “to many Motability users because it has an extremely roomy cabin and the boot capacity is class-leading”.

Earlier this year, rental firm Avis acquired a fleet of 100 MG6 models, the first deal of its kind for the revived marque owned by Chinese vehicle manufacturer SAIC.
