UK specs and prices have been revealed for the new MG4 EV.
The model will be offered with a choice of three versions – SE Standard Range, SE Long Range, and Trophy Long Range.
The Standard Range version will feature a 51kWh battery, offering a range of up to 218 miles of the official WLTP cycle, while the Long Range versions will have a 64kWh battery, allowing a range of 281 miles with the SE grade, and 270 miles with the Trophy grade.
The 64kWh battery will be capable of charging at up to 135kW, meaning a 10-80% charge will be possible in 35 minutes.
Standard equipment with the SE grade will include the MG Pilot ADAS system, automatic LED headlights and tail lights, rear parking sensors, 17in alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, automatic climate control, a 10.25in infotainment screen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity, a 7in driver display, and MG iSmart app connectivity. SE Long Range cars will also comes with an active grille shutter system, designed to improve the car’s aerodynamics and help increase its range.
Further equipment with the Trophy grade will include blind spot detection, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, a two-tone roof, rear privacy glass, a twin aero rear spoiler, a leather interior with electric driver’s seat, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, sat-nav, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, and upgraded MG iSmart with live services.
Prices start at £25,995 for SE Standard Range spec, and rise to £28,495 for SE Long Range and £31,495 for Trophy Long Range. The UK launch will be in September.
