Leaseplan UK has appointed Simon Carr as brand director of its small fleet division Fleetline.

Carr was previously regional director of Leaseplan’s sister franchise brand Network and prior to that was general manager of sales at Fleetline, which caters for fleets of up to 100 vehicles.

He will work alongside Matthew Dyer, Leaseplan UK’s commercial director, and will assume overall responsibility for Fleetline’s brand positioning and business strategy.

Carr said: “As other major players move away from servicing small fleets I see a huge opportunity for Fleetline to grow its market share by providing the best corporate practices and latest technology to small fleets.”
